Reviews
Tucked in an Office Park off West Charleston and Indigo St.
Vintner’s has Indoor or Outside seating.
We were welcomed immediately upon entering the restaurant.
Our server Stacy was friendly and accommodating.
What we ordered:
1.) Crab Cakes, nicely seasoned and moist.
2.) Crispy Calamari, it was a bit over cooked as some of the pieces were somewhat chewy but it was seasoned nicely. I did not care for the taste of the dipping sauce a bit sweet for me.
3.) Cesar Pepperoni Pizza. Interesting as they bake the pizza and then put Cesar Salad on top before serving it. My friend said it tasted good.
4.) Grilled Scallops over Risotto. It was over salted my friend said it was not tasty.
5.) Grilled Sea-bass. Again, fish was a bit over cooked as the skin was tough on some portions.
I may come again hoping it was on off night, but the cook at the fish station needs to watch his cooking time!
Side Note: Ladies take note if you are wearing a skirt or dress as some of the chairs in the main dining room have tears in the seat and cut into your back of your legs. My friend made them switch out her chair because of this very thing!
My girlfriend took me here for my birthday based on her mom’s recommendation. We both ordered the baked chicken and mac and cheese. The crust on the chicken was fine but the meat was so unbelievably dry that I needed to take a sip of water with every bite. The greens were fine. The mac n cheese was just not it for me and my girlfriend felt nauseous eating the mac n cheese cause of all the oils. We quickly stopped eating after a few bites and opted not to take the food to go… it was that bad. Like I wouldn't even hand the box to someone out on the street. It totaled $80 for the two meals but tasted worse than a $2 chicken patty from McDonald’s. I did get a complimentary cake that was nice of them though I am scared to eat it.
Aside from the food:
Ambience is very nice here
Service is what you would expect (David was good but come on man this isn't even close to "The best chicken dish in Vegas")
Bar looks great - I’d come here for a drink, at least you don't cook that
I don't normally give out 1 stars but since I had a horrible experience during a special occasion this place is forever ruined for me.
Maybe if Carrot Top was in the bar area, my experience would have been better. The prime burger was not so prime 😕. Old over cooked dried bacon. The prime meat patty was dry and way over 🧂 salted. Brioche bun fell apart. You know it's not good when you only have a few bites and box the rest for home. Fries were crispy, and the dipping sauce was not bad. Looking around the table, I saw a dried out over seasoned halibut that was returned. Was not impressed with my dining experience. Margerita wasn't bad.Thank goodness I didn't have to pay for my meal as I was a guest of my friends.
Celebrated my mom's birthday here. We had trouble finding it because it's within an office park. Once you really in you there is a wonderful atmosphere in this restaurant. Nice wood floors and decor, loved the classic big band background music, and despite being crowded, it wasn't too loud. Service was excellent. Water was always full, used plates and utensils were quickly cleared and our server immediately replaced my daughter's napkin after she dropped it on the floor. My mom loved her ravioli, kids loved their pizza, the prime ribs were excellent, and my veal was delicious. My only negatives would be that my wife was upsold to a more expensive wine (she loved it but didn't know it was 2x the price) and the pizza came with slices of tomato which our kids picked off (it wasn't supposed to have slices). Overall a great experience that everyone enjoyed, would definitely come back.
A “true” local restaurant! Vintner doesn’t compromise quality or skim on the fine dining experience. What a joy not to have to traverse all the way to the Strip for such delectable dishes!
Lovely restaurant in the heart of Summerlin. The decor brings you to the old “wealthy” south. The food is excellent but exactly what you should expect from an upscale restaurants. Portions are appropriate for the clientele and the drinks are excellent. This is a wonderful place to have s great lunch with a friend or dinner with close friends.
This is a late review for our last week’s dining experience. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants for a cost night out! Michael H did a great job guiding us through the menu. The chicken was perfectly roasted and the octopus ( the best octopus you can have) was amazingly cooked, not chewy or burnt. The ambiance is really nice and service super friendly and helpful. You have to ask for Michael H as your server, he’s the best!
Had high expectations, but the food did not meet them. The service and especially our server Sarah were excellent.
Our appetizers, a mixed green salad and crab cakes were good, but I ordered the scallops with risotto and there was zero flavor. It literally tasted like it was simmered with just water and there was no broth, salt, or cheese added.
I sent the dish back, which Sarah handled professionally, but when it came back a second time it was just as bland. So strange because the scallops were cooked well and the rice was lightly al denté but zero flavor. I should have sent the dish back a second time but my mother was already done with her food and I didn’t want to make more of a scene
The tiramisu was delicious and was probably the best thing we had. The manager found a digital gift card that was deleted from an email, which was very nice of him
We sat outside and when I got home I realized I got six mosquitoes bites on my legs during dinner
